“Kanine Krunchies can’t be beat, they make each meal a special treat!”
The scene with the happy Dalmatian family watching the before they parents go on “w-a-l-k” has always been a favorite to me. Maybe because I’ve loved the movie since age three, but who knows!
We decided to turn our peanut butter cookies into Kanine Krunchies…by shaping them.

Ingredients:
– 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
– 1/2 C butter, softened
– 1/2 C sugar
– 1/2 C brown sugar
– 1 egg
– 2 tsp vanilla
– 1.5 to 2 C flour
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
– Preheat your oven to 350° and lime a baking sheet with parchment paper
– Cream together your butter and peanut butter until smooth.
– Add your sugars, then your egg and vanilla.
– Add your baking powder and salt.
– Add your flour 1/2 C at a time. After adding 1.5 C, try to mold some dough in your hands and see how well it does. If it’s too sticky, add more flour- do not go over 2 C, it will be too crumbly.
The first time we made the cookies they were too crumbly. We added the full 2 C then. Second time, we did about 1 3/4 C flour and it did well!
– Put your dough in the fridge for a few minutes. Clean up your kitchen or set up your cookie cutting stations. Do you!
– Roll the dough, add flour if needed, and use whatever shapers you like! I got the ones pictured off of Amazon.

– Bake for around 10 minutes. Check to see that the edges are firm but not too brown.

Enjoy! Don’t forget to make your 101 Dalmatians bookmark!
Looks Awesome 😊
